I am basically a computer geek, to some extent, who enjoys using and abusing technology, both new and old, and passing on that info and thoughts to others. A lot of my ramblings are based on what is going on in my life and what new tech interests me at the time.
Here i deal with the every day minutia of life and technology. I’m a gadget and tech nut, with an urge to learn all there is to know about the latest toys and must-haves, and let the world know what i think in my unbiased way. i’m located in southwestern ontario, more specifically just outside of London, Ontario but like the world wide web has no boundaries or geographical limitations, depending upon the extent of the work of course. most of my working time is spent at my real job, with computers and technology playing a large part of that, it has a habit of spilling over into this, my sideline. my little company and other persona thatcomputerguy, was started to help smaller firms and individuals manage and improve their networks, computers and peripherals without having to pay for monthly service contracts or pay exorbitant per use call-centre rates.thatcomputerguy strives to resolve each issue as quickly and painlessly as possible. many common computer problems are relatively simple and can be fixed in a short period of time. some, however, are more extensive and require more in-depth examination and troubleshooting to determine the cause and the subsequent fix. all problems, no matter how large or small can be just as annoying to a user, which is why thatcomputerguy strives to resolve each issue as quickly and painlessly as possible.
